Hello, World! I’m a Staff Software Engineer who recently became an Engineering Manager at Sidecar Health. Before that, I was a Tech Lead at Carta — and across all of it, I’ve remained very hands on (maybe too much). I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly side of both my decisions and others.
I’ve been lucky enough to have worked on interesting projects across many companies — from aerospace and defense to fintech and healthtech — dealing with high concurrency and parallelization, massive amounts of data, and highly regulated industries.
There are so many rules, principles, and abstractions across this industry — and mistakes we keep making anyway. I want to pay it forward and share my insights, so I write about Engineering, Leadership, and Architecture.
